Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!
Works under the supervision of the Facility Services Director; performs general maintenance duties, run errands, as well as completing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks. Performs other duties as assigned.
HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, on call every fifth weekend and one day a week.
Experience/Qualifications
High school diplomaTech school degree in a tradePrior experience in trade work Completed apprenticeship program in a trade.Able to read and understand building plans and manuals.Able to work with others as part of a team.Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service abilities. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public, co-workers, employees and others. Must exhibit professional demeanor and appearance.Ability to problem solve and conduct informational research.Ability to anticipate and meet support needs of supervisor and department.Able to set and revise priorities as needed and work with little supervision.Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and withstand stressful situations.Exhibits a high-degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.Committed to doing his or her best work and supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
