We’re hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor!

Our Interior Systems Division is looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor for its manufacturing facility in Saline, MI to  participate in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities.

 

You’ll work on challenges that matter

This job will require you to

The Maintenance Supervisor has the authority to stop production when product does not meet customer requirements. Contribute, in liaison with the Manufacturing Engineering Department, to define technical specifications for alterations on existing equipment and facilities Coordinate both repair and preventive maintenance requirements for all manufacturing equipmentIdentify and develop standards for equipment repair, set up and operation Participate in Production System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for all facilities Facilitate equipment moves Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance Be responsible for the computer aided maintenance management system Manage a team of maintenance technicians Ensure proper coding of maintenance personnel in E-Time Assign maintenance tasks & ensure proper closure of work orders Conduct & record employee safety stand downs Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental PolicyConform to requirements established in Saline Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructionsEnsure members in assigned area(s) of responsibility conform to relevant EMS requirementsSupport environmental programs to achieve objectives and targets Follow values established within ForviaAct with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as with autonomy and accountabilityPeople Management Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of ManagementPropose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site Commitment to the highest ethical standards and adherence to: Faurecia Group Code of Ethics Faurecia Group Code of Management Faurecia Group Environmental Policy Faurecia Group Quality Policy All other duties as assigned by the company

 

The ideal candidate

To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:

Strong sense of teamwork Strong communication skills Proven track record in upholding safety and quality standards Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably with a specialization in Maintenance Working knowledge of Quality system and Health, Safety & Environment skills Advanced computer knowledge and skills Strong problem solving skills Strong people management skills, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a matrix organization At least 2 years of Maintenance experience, preferred2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferred
