We are hiring a 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor for our frozen dessert manufacturing facility in Stilwell, OK. This shift is a Monday – Friday, 9 pm – 7 am position. In this flagship plant we produce our tasty Edwards and Mrs. Smith’s brand pies along with other products!

This position is responsible for supervising maintenance including predictive maintenance, equipment repair and rebuild, electrical, refrigeration, grounds, equipment noise control and maintenance training programs.

Responsibilities:

Supervises facility maintenance activities including predictive maintenance, floor maintenance diagnosis and repair and emergency maintenanceAdministers the predictive maintenance programPlans routine maintenance schedules and follows up on problems to develop solutionsEnsures that maintenance is performed to maximize available run timeMonitors breakdowns, determine needs and assigns resourcesKeeps upper management informed of issues that affect the performance of the departmentReviews equipment to ensure all safety devices are properly installed. Ensures that parts and equipment inventories remain at approved levelsResponsible for supervising employees, including skills development, safety, housekeeping, policy administration, discipline, employee relations, cost control and problem solving Adjusts daily work schedule as needed to meet production requirementsEnsures all company, state, and federal requirements for food safety are met by maintenance employees Supervises, trains and develops subordinates, if applicable

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred3+ years of related experienceMust have knowledge and skills in the technologies of general construction, electrical systems, electronic systems, microprocessors, mechanical systems (e.g., production/process, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, hydraulics, and pneumatics), and computerized maintenance management systemsWorking knowledge of food plant production and processing equipment preferred Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety, EPA regulations, USDA and sanitation standards preferredMust have previous supervisory experienceBasic PC skills including expertise with MS Office and OutlookSAP experience beneficialExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have basic mathematical and problem-solving skills in order to generate and maintain departmental reportsMay be required to be clean shaven if trained in the use of and required to use a respiratorMust be capable and willing to work any shift and be on 24-hour call for emergency situations as necessaryThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the job
