We are looking to hire a Gutter Maintenance Technician who shares our vision, values and commitment to superior customer service. This position will focus cleaning, maintaining, and repairing exterior community elements that include, but not limited to gutter & roof cleaning (10’- 40’ high), pressure washing, bulk cleanups, string trimming, fence repairs, signage/post installation, general repairs, and lots more! This position will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and other team members to complete daily tasks as assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

\n

Duties include but are not limited to:

\n\nComfortably walk & work from heights 10 to 40 feet in the air along roof edges and/or from a ladder\nAble to safely maneuver extension ladders on all types of roofing, pitches, and conditions.\nExcel at hands-on work in the outdoors.\nThe ability to work steadily for 8 hours/day, including tasks such as walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and climbing.\nCompetent working with hand tools, small power tools, and generators.\nThe ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.\nAbility to work outdoors in all weather, year-round.\nAbility to understand verbal and written instructions.\nAbility to observe and adhere to all industry and worksite safety regulations and requirements, and perform all tasks in a safe manner.\nDemonstrate a great attitude and a willingness to learn.\nPossess good time management skills, self-motivated.\nAbility to organize assigned tasks for completion, alone or with coworkers.\nAbility to problem solve and envision all steps in assigned tasks.\n\n

Physical Demands

\n

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to climb ladders, load and unload equipment, work with equipment/tools, and safely drive the work vehicle. This position also requires walking around job sites, going up and down stairs and ladders, kneeling, bending, and reaching.

\n

\n

At times, this position is physically demanding and the ability to lift, move, pull and push equipment of at least 75 pounds is required.

\n

\n

Kinesthetic Awareness- The Gutter/Maintenance Tech must constantly be aware of his position and orientation amidst his physical surroundings. This includes an awareness of personal physical attributes such as balance, strength, endurance, and any limits therein.

\n

\n

Work Environment

\n

The work environment varies from day-to-day depending on the job site and includes outdoor and some indoor work. Weather conditions will play a large part in the scheduling of work and in the staging of the job. This position handles exterior work and is frequently exposed to heat, cold, and inclement weather. Typically, work will continue in situations of mild weather such as light rain, snow, and/or wind. However, jobs may be cancelled due to weather that makes for unsafe work conditions. A decision to cancel work is reserved for the Owner to make.

Work trucks and tools will be provided.\nPrevious gutter maintenance experience is a plus, but not required.\nAn average or better mechanical and/or technical aptitude is preferred.\n
