Position Highlights: + Join a fast-paced facility services environment that contributes to the overall satisfaction of thousands of hospital patients each year Job Summary + Provides for beautiful and pleasant surroundings in the yards; maintains beautiful and well-kept grounds to create a professional looking hospital/nursing home appearance. + Helps wherever needed and paints when time permits. + Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times. + Supports the vision, mission, and philosophy statements of Avera Sacred Heart Hospital. + Supports the hospital's goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals. + Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship. + Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives. Education and/or Experience + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + One to three months related experience and/or training. Knowledge in basic lawn care and painting preferred. + 0-6 months of experience is required. + 6 months-1 year of experience is preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration + This position requires a valid driver’s license, and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
