Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a Full Time Mammography Technologist to join our Breast Health Center team!
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus!
The Mammographer Technologist provides health care services, using x-rays, to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs medical imaging techniques and related procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of, a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Hours Full Time -1.0 FTE/80 hours every 2 weeks, day shift
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of radiology standards and procedures as they relate to mammography procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiology school, an Associate’s Degree in Radiology, or sufficient on-the-job training to meet ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification requirements.Meets FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) mandated requirements.ARRT (R)ARRT (M)State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hireEmployee Benefits
