Manager, Product Implementation
The Manager of Product Implementation is responsible for managing the teams and process for product configuration and integration of new products and processes into our value streams. The goal is to create a world-class customer experience for ordering, installing, and servicing products. This is achieved through problem-solving, process improvements, and personal business knowledge and capability to drive results. The Manager of Product Implementation will manage the work within the team, coach the team through technical challenges, and act as a role model in the organization. **Key Responsibilities** + Provide feedback and requirements to Product Management and Engineering for product design and strategy focusing on deploying, maintaining, and repairing products in the field. + Instruct Marketing and Sales to simplify the product offerings and improve the customer ordering experience + Assign appropriate resources during product development and release phases. + Build and implement roles and responsibilities for team members to meet customer expectations and business objectives + Develop processes for gathering business requirements. + Approves projects requesting sign-off from Customer Experience and ensures appropriate documentation of design trade-offs including estimated cost and customer impacts. + Direct the teams in day-to-day activities including project management, user story creation, sprint planning, and backlog grooming. + Guides team through technical improvements, including tool upgrades, automated testing, and deployment processes. + Identify opportunities from customer feedback for simplifying product design and customer ordering experience. **Background and Skill** + 4-year college degree. Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred. + 2 -5 years of supervisory experience preferred. + 5 or more years of business experience covering project management, manufacturing, or field service. + Ability to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably and communicate them in simple terms + Familiarity with product and software development life cycle methodologies including Agile. + Hands-on experience with problem-solving, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or Vontier Business Systems (VBS) preferred. + Easily makes connections among previously unrelated concepts. + Ability to be a settling influence in a high-pressure situation + Relates well to all levels of an organization, both internal and external + Ability to build cohesive cross-functional teams to work for a common goal The base compensation range for this position is $112,300 to $136,000 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
