Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking a Medical Receptionist to support the Emergency Department and join our team!
The Medical Receptionist greets, registers, and assists patients professionally while maintaining confidentiality. Efficiently schedules patient appointments according to established parameters as defined by office policy and procedure. Obtains and maintains complete and accurate registration records. Courteously answers all phone calls, providing routine information to callers and transfers calls to appropriate individual.
HOURS: .5 FTE, Supplemental, 40 hours per pay period, 20 hours per week. Varied shifts, weekend/holiday rotation as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of office procedures normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer experience and basic computer keyboarding skills required.One year of business office, customer service or healthcare experience preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.Employee Benefits
