The Medical Technician (a.k.a Regenerative Medicine Technician) plays an integral role in the innovative patient care that The Steadman Clinic Physicians provide to their patients. The Technician will be responsible for interacting with the patients to collect their blood once a physician has determined that a regenerative medicine product such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) or Bone Marrow Concentrate (BMC) would be beneficial to a patient. Also responsible for following standardized laboratory protocols to process the blood into the requested product and deliver the product to the physician in the clinic or in the operating room. This is a position that requires attention to detail and critical thinking skills. No experience is necessary, just a desire to learn! We will train you!

Location: Vail, CO. (with travel to Frisco, Edwards, and Basalt)

Schedule: Monday - Friday; shift dependent on business needs and ideal candidate availability

Compensation: Starts at $22/hr.

General Primary Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and process blood or bone marrow into necessary components following written SOPs.Ensure that all patient documentation is collected and up to date according to clinical protocols.Maintain laboratory instrumentation and devices according to established protocols.Ensure confidentiality of all medical, financial, or other sensitive materials and maintain the privacy of patients.Monitor and maintain inventory.Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma required.IV Certification, preferred. Can enroll in IV Certification upon hire if not currently certified. We will train you!Laboratory experience preferred.EMT certification preferred.IV administration and Phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.Knowledge and understanding of patient privacy rights preferred.Training available.
