Silgan Dispensing is a large business in Grandview, MO. We are part of a global company that produces injection molded parts for some of the world’s leading brands.

Responsibilities:

Operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality productsSet up and adjust machine settings to ensure proper molding processMonitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiencyInspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specificationsAssemble and package finished products according to customer requirementsPerform basic math calculations and use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometersFollow standard operating procedures and safety guidelinesMaintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

Previous experience in injection molding or related manufacturing field preferredFamiliarity with hand tools and ability to use them effectivelyKnowledge of materials handling and ability to fabricate parts as neededBasic math skills for measurements and calculationsStrong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on finished productsKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
