Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Work Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off Wednesday - Tuesday. PM Shift.

**Work 70 hours in a pay period but get paid for 80**

This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus!

The MRI technologist works under the direction of a Radiologist to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision for the technical detail. The Technologist assumes responsibility for the safety of their patients and colleagues in their designated work area and takes corrective action when necessary to maintain such safety.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: High school graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of at least one of the following AMA approved programs: 

Radiologic Technology programNuclear Medicine programDiagnostic Ultrasound program

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE 

Minimum Required: Two years’ experience in any field of Diagnostic Imaging.

Preferred/Optional: Experience in cross-section anatomy preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES 

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.  Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required:

ARRT Certification in Radiology, NMTCB certification or ARDMS certification with eligibility for MRI certification requiredMust apply for MRI Certification within one year of employment and must obtain certification within two years of employmentCPR Certification
