Job Summary/Description:

KVVU, FOX5, the Gray-owned station in Las Vegas has an opening for an anchor/reporter. The position will include anchoring and reporting each work day.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Generate strong ideas and produce/report those stories for on-air and digital channels
- Anchor on-air and online daily as scheduled
- Must be experienced in handling breaking news and live field coverage as needed
- This position will anchor or co-anchor at least one hour of news and report daily

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Three years minimum experience as a reporter and anchor in a TV newsroom
- Proven, demonstrated ability to conceive and pitch strong enterprise (original) story ideas that support the FOX5 "Local Las Vegas" brand
- Strong writing and the ability to tell engaging stories through visual mediums are essential
- College degree preferred, but not required
