Job Description

Full Time / Days

Cleans and services areas in the department of surgical services and performs a variety of duties to maintain the Operating Room and other departmental areas. Accurately restocks linen, environmental cleaning carts, soaps, hand sanitizers and cleaning supplies in designated areas. Performs duties in a manner to ensure timely flow of surgical operations. Responsible for cleaning designated equipment in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition according to established procedures.

Education REQUIRED : High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience REQUIRED : Must be able to work well with others. Verbal and written communications skills are required. Is expected to project a professional attitude in appearance and conduct. Is expected to attend work as scheduled. Must comply with the Hospital's Code of Conduct. Must be able to stand and walk for long hours and have the mobility and strength to move quickly, stoop, and/or bend repeatedly. Must have dexterity of hands, eyes, and mind to perform assigned tasks. Must have the ability to remain calm under stress.
