NOW is the time to join The Better Food Company!! Marzetti Company is looking for someone to support the security, stability, and integrity of the Company’s Operational Technology (OT) Networks. The OT Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial control system (ICS) networks. This includes configuring and troubleshooting network devices, such as switches, routers, and firewalls, as well as monitoring network performance and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial control systems, network protocols, and cybersecurity best practices. Responsibilities Experience deploying or supporting security practices and technologies such as risk or vulnerability assessments, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, centralized alert logging and monitoring Collaborate with owners of security technologies and supply chain operations to develop, implement, and manage a secure OT program. This includes deploying or supporting security practices and technologies such as risk or vulnerability assessments, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, centralized alert logging and monitoring. Responsible for establishing comprehensive security policies and procedures over the OT environment. Lead efforts to define and implement stringent security standards, access controls, and incident response protocols, as well as conducting regular security awareness training. Responsible for training and assisting controls engineers and IT technical staff in OT cybersecurity techniques and applications. Investigate and recommend appropriate corrective actions for information security incidents. Follow cyber security news and alerts, understand attack vectors, and risks, and identifies and evaluates emergent cyber security threats and vulnerabilities. Qualifications Knowledge and experience in cyber security concepts to protect ICS, SCADA and other OT systems from cyber threats. Understanding of security standards and best practices for ICS, as well as principles of networking, servers, endpoints, and system integration. Knowledge of the Purdue Model for ICS Security, experience executing against frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST SP800-82, or hybrids. Knowledge of OT specific network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, vulnerability management, secure remote access, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, such as Claroty or Dragos. Assist stakeholders to scope and perform regular vulnerability assessments to evaluate cyber risks to the OT environment. Strong knowledge of ICS architecture best practices and the interaction of OT infrastructure. Manage vendors who provide OT cybersecurity technical support. Detail oriented and demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 6+ years' experience in OT network security in a manufacturing environment, certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, GRID, or ISA/IEC 62443 a plus.
