RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides for the personal care and comfort of psychiatric patients. Provides a safe, clean environment. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. Communicates with treatment team as appropriate about changes in patient's condition. Able to perform general duties with adequate supervision. QUALIFICATIONS: This position is part of a career ladder and level will be determined by the organization. Unless otherwise required by certification, licensure or registration, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the minimally required education and/or experience listed.
