Position Details

Services are self-directed and person-centered with a reunification focus.  Services are multi-faceted and include supervising family visits and supporting families of origin through that process, managing a Family Intervention caseload, and providing subject matter expertise to support other staff.

The Peer Family Interventionist will:

Arrange, support, and supervise family visits (in conjunction with other staff) for children and parents involved in the child welfare system. Independently manage a Family Intervention (FI) caseload by assisting families in adherence to and completion of the state-authored FI plan. Complete all necessary documentation associated with duties. Promote the utilization of network and natural supports within the community. May perform other duties, as needed.
