Participation in Transplant Multidisciplinary Rounds (MDR), managing medication therapies, and verifying hospital medication orders are routine activities in this practice. The Transplant Pharmacist serves as a Pharmacy liaison to the Transplant practices, collaborating to continuously improve medication use quality and safety, and actively participates in Pharmacy education programs. Responsibilities include distribution, consultation, drug therapy monitoring, education, and supervisory functions. **Qualifications** Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience includes Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy and at least two years of relevant pharmacy practice experience. Commitment to excellence, accuracy, attention to detail and teamwork. Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with others, organize time well, solve problems, and work independently with minimal supervision.The following are preferred: Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency. Experience of working in a progressive academic medical center’s Institutional / Hospital Pharmacy practice. Demonstration of leadership and team building skills. History of scholarly activities including publication and scientific meeting presentations. Experience and / or interest in teaching. Eligible for licensure by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire. Preferred qualifications for this position include: PGY2 Residency in transplant or PGY1 Residency with inpatient transplant experience highly preferred. Board Certification highly preferred. Abdominal and/or thoracic solid organ transplant experience highly preferred. **Exemption Status** Exempt **Compensation Detail** $113,692.80 - $170,476.80 annually **Benefits Eligible** Yes **Schedule** Full Time **Hours/Pay Period** 80 **Schedule Details** Day shift with occasional evening shift rotation. **Weekend Schedule** Weekend shift rotation, currently every 3rd weekend. **International Assignment** No **Site Description** Just as our reputation has spread beyond our Minnesota roots, so have our locations.
