What you will do: Greets patients and correctly, enters physician orders into the laboratory computer system obtaining any necessary information from the outpatients. Performs patient registration duties as required. Performs proper patient identification during all specimen collections. Answers phones, completes requests, and relays messages. Maintains current knowledge of all computer applications necessary to carry out job duties. Provides clear and complete communication and documentation to co-workers, patients, and clients using all tools available. Regularly demonstrates the ability to serve patients of all ages in the routine performance of duties. What you will need: High school graduate or equivalent.  Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate preferred. Previous phlebotomy experience preferred. Must be currently certified in CPR/BLS (and recertified bi-annually). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive impression of the Medical Center at all times.  Ability to handle sensitive telephone and face-to-face inquiries. Computer skills required. Ability to be mobile.  Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license and be insurable under Firelands' auto policy.  Employee must provide proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request
