Physical Therapist

$3,000 Hiring Bonus! $5,000 Relocation Bonus (if applicable)! 

80 hours every 2 weeks | Day shift | Monday-Friday, with the occasional Saturday. 


Provides services to patients ranging from adolescent to the elderly in order to prevent, assess, alleviate or correct physical disability, bodily dysfunction, or pain. Responsible for treating mostly pediatric outpatients, but also covering adult outpatient and inpatient as needed. Responsible for evaluating patient needs, establishing treatment plans and providing treatments/services accordingly. Will work with patients on an individual basis using current technology, treatment techniques and modalities consistent with department and hospital policies and procedures. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

EDUCATION:

Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy required.

EXPERIENCE:

Prior clinical or field work experience must provide clear evidence of clinical skills consistent with basic entry level positions.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Physical Therapist (PT) Licensed by the MN Board of Physical Therapy as a physical therapist or current temporary permit required. License required within 90 days from date of exam. 

**Hiring bonus requirements: To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

**Relocation bonus requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from facility and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
