We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Plant Tech in our US Onshore Resources Carbon Management (ORCM), EOR Business Unit based in Amistad, NM; at our Bravo Dome Co2 plant and field.

ThePlant Tech will monitor equipment, make adjustments to process controls, take routine readings, performing preventive and minor maintenance, troubleshoot operational problems, perform lab tests, and handle paperwork associated with regulatory permitting in order to improve plant/field system operation/uptime and reduce total operating costs.

Monitors and controls well and field operations.Constantly reviews the operation of the field to monitor production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement.Participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.Maintains adequate records of key production variables such as production volume, yield, utility consumption, etc. on a daily, weekly, and/ monthly basis, as requiredCollaborate with contractors and vendors for all activities.Responsible for equipment lock/tagout for maintenance and repairsRecognizes equipment abnormalities.
