A key component of Owens Corning success, the Denver Asphalt plant has been making asphalt products for over 50 years. The Pouring Crew team member (Asphalt Pourer) safely executes functions related to packaging the best quality asphalt products for our valued customers. Pourers are responsible for a variety of duties on our packaging docks and still yard. This job can open the door to career opportunities with Owens Corning Roofing & Asphalt.

 

We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule.  Day 1, you are eligible to receive full company benefits including health insurance, dental and vision, vacation days, wellness incentives and much more.  On day 1, you will have an opportunity to earn towards quarterly incentives. Full-time work schedules may include overtime hours.

 

It's a physical job! If you have never worked in a manufacturing environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for 90% - 95% of your shift. While we want everyone to feel comfortable, our outdoor manufacturing environment means that working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather.

 

As a member of the pouring crew at our facility, you will work alongside a team of 5 - 9 employees:

 

Complete tasks associated with making, setting, pouring and clearing the Asphalt Package batches of asphalt products participate in projects and equipment repairs Maintaining a safe workplace
Requirements Include: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work 12-hour shifts Available to work various schedules to include weekends Ability to team-lift 100 pounds
 
The ideal candidate would have: Motivation to learn and advance as an Owens Corning employee Must be able to operate a computer Manufacturing or Asphalt experience (preferred, but not required) Forklift experience (preferred, but not required)

 

All candidates offered employment with Owens Corning must pass a hair drug test, a work and professional reference check, a criminal background check, and a medical pre-placement assessment. A high school diploma or GED is required for all positions and must be verifiable. Candidate may be required to provide proof of completion and to test for skills/knowledge.

 

Introductory Period
