Summary of Role: We are looking for a Principal Lead of cloud engineering to lead our team of cloud engineers and architects in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions for our organization. As the director of cloud engineering, you will be responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our cloud initiatives, as well as overseeing the execution and delivery of high-quality cloud products and services. You will also collaborate with other senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization to align our cloud goals with our business objectives and customer needs. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in leading and managing cloud engineering teams, as well as a strong background in cloud technologies, platforms, and best practices. You should also have excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Essential Responsibilities: + Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our cloud engineering team + Mentor and coach cloud engineers and architects to ensure their professional growth and development + Establish and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for cloud engineering practices, such as design, development, testing, deployment, security, and performance + Oversee the architecture, design, development, and delivery of cloud-based solutions that meet the requirements and expectations of our internal and external customers + Manage the budget, resources, timelines, and risks of cloud engineering projects and initiatives + Evaluate and adopt new cloud technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve our cloud capabilities and efficiency + Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the cloud engineering team and across the organization Other Responsibilities: + Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs Required Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field + 10+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud engineering + 5+ years of experience in leading cloud engineering teams + Must be US citizen or green cardholder + Expertise in cloud technologies, platforms, and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP + Experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions + Experience in working with various cloud architectures, such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, or hybrid + Experience in using various cloud tools and frameworks, such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, or Serverless + Experience in implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications + Experience in applying agile methodologies and principles to cloud engineering projects + Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices + Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills + Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Expected Salary Range $120,100.00 - $226,300.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
