The refriclaim operator is responsible for assisting the production supervisor and team lead with overall production requirements for incoming and outgoing refrigerants. This position will focus primarily on the refri-claim program.\n

Key Responsibilities:\n\nResponsible checking in and staging of the cylinders, including entry into cylinder tracking system and tagging the in\/out date, accurately label cylinders and prepare cylinders to be shipped out to customers\nUtilize overhead crane to check in 30 and 50 pound cylnders\nUtilize lab equipment to test the components to analyze for purity and correct mixtures\nLoad cylinders onto cart and able to operate the decant station; which removes the gas out of the cylinders\nOperate and maintain equipment in production facility including but not limited to pumps, cylinders, hoses, hand tools, pressure gauges, scales, relief valves, cylinder valves, overhead hoists, and bulk tanks\nAbility to handle high-pressure and liquid cylinders and understands hazards of various gases, size and contents of cylinders by reading safety data sheets and cylinder labels\nInspects and examines cylinders for defects, dents and cracks prior to filling. Prepares cylinders and ISO tanks for filling: Attach to manifold, evacuate cylinders to eliminate all possible contaminants\nOther duties as assigned\n\n

Qualifications\n\nHigh School diploma or GED required\nPrevious experience in a process operations environment preferred \nStrong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools \nAbility to learn technical chemical processes, gas terminology, cylinder types, and sizes quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment \nEPA 608 certification required and\/or must be obtained within 6 months\nForklift, overhead crane, and clamp operation experience required or ability to become certified within 60 days\nFunctional computer skills required\n\n

Physical Demand Requirements:\u202f\u202f\u202f \n\nFrequently pushes, pulls, moves and\/or lifts up to 50 pounds independently\nFrequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers\nManipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the day\nConstantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and some exposure to outdoor weather conditions\n\n
