Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator II for the Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT) within the School of Engineering. Reporting directly to the Project Manager-Workplace & Career Development at CAIT this grant-funded position plans, manages and delivers programs, projects, and services to the Employment Development programs for at-risk and justice-impacted young people and adults.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Coordinates execution and monitors participant progress within the workforce readiness projects to address and reduce barriers to education completion and career development. Responsible for the intake, assessment, referrals, and overall case management and tracking of youth and adults enrolled with CAIT’s Employment Success Program. Assists in managing the database including data entry and management program, coordinating initial intake, subsequent referrals and service planning, and benchmark reporting. Arranges and coordinates logistics and assists with quality assurance relating to the content of program, events, training workshops, and meetings. Acts as liaison between CAIT and external community service providers, including schools, courts and justice personnel, partner social service organizations, workshop trainers, and employers. Meets regularly with Senior Program Coordinators and Project Manager of Employment Success Program to shape projects, discuss issues, and evaluate project outcomes. Demonstrates a good understanding of the mission, vision, role and goals of Employment Success, CAIT, School of Engineering, and Rutgers University.
