Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of 5 years experience in quality related system and statistical analysis. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Mechanic Engineering, Material Science, or Manufacturing Engineering. Working knowledge of quality systems and requirements and how they relate to business (i.e. AS9100). Familiarity with turbine engines and it's components. Green Belt/Black Belt and/or Lean Six Sigma experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Word Excel, PowerPoint.

This position is responsible for the quality, from purchase order to ship, of superalloy castings produced within Howmet Aerospace  Wichita Falls Casting Operations. Tasks, as required, are performed to warrant the processing of parts to customers' purchase orders, specifications and engineering drawings. Key responsibilities include internal/external audit preparedness (AS9100, NADCAP,etc.) and focus on continuous improvement.

 

The ideal candidate will posses the following skills: Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. An ability to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic environment. Organizational skills, reliability, and ability to work independently. Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members  of the business community. Lead/Support the implementation of initiatives necessary to improve product quality and delivery. Ability to manage quality functions such as layout, toolroom and gauge system, etc. Accountability to quality clinic activities and 30-60-90 action follow through.
