Summary

Leads and contributes to the management, planning and execution of complex major organizational real estate development projects and serves as an advisor to the executive project leadership team.  Develop plans and executes on the allocation of operational resources and manages stakeholder engagement plans.  Collaborates and provides guidance with internal and external teams on matters related to the master site plan, design guidelines, procurement, and operating/capital forecasting.  Lead and primary contact for on-site and land management activities as well as planning and execution of site visits, tours, and community engagement.  

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:   

Real Estate Development and/or Construction management experience

 

Responsibilities:  

Serve as an adviser to the Director/Manager and Pasco County Campus Development (Campus) Leadership Team for planning and coordination. Leverage sound project management skills and tools to plan and deliver Campus projects and initiatives. Provide leadership and coordination to unplanned or emergent projects and initiatives with agility and flexibility as they arise.  Helps to manage the Campus Leadership Team’s stakeholder engagement plan. Support the Director/Manager with communication planning and material preparation. Develops requirements and plans that inform the allocation of operational resources to deliver quality standards on time and within financial forecast. High-level on-site management and coordination of land management activities.  Planning and execution of site visits, tours, and community engagement. Collaborates and provides guidance with internal and external teams on matters related to the masterplan, design guidelines, procurement, and financials. May provide guidance to functional areas in development and execution of projects to manage/reduce risk and deliver projected business outcomes. Provides frequent and effective communication to the project team, Leadership and Organization Sets an example for project accountability and professional behavior. Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytics as requested by the leadership. Conduct background research and analysis and prepare briefing and advance materials to support the Campus Leadership Team.

 

Credentials and Qualifications:

Master’s degree required.** In lieu of a master’s degree will consider bachelors’ degree and a minimum of three (3) years additional experience (for a total of 10 years’ experience) in real estate development, construction, project management and/or construction/ real estate finance. Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in real estate development, construction, project management and/or construction/real estate finance.
