Receptionist/Accounting Assistant

The main job tasks and responsibilities of the Receptionist/Accounting Asstistant are:

Answer, screen and direct calls

Take and relay messages

Provide information to callers

Greet visitors entering the offices

Direct visitors to correct destination, deal with queries from the public and customers

Receive and sort mail and deliveries

Keep the reception area tidy and maintained

Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data

Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted

Understand expense accounts and cost centers
