**Job Type:** Per Diem **Time Type:** Part time **Work Shift:** Rotating (United States of America) **FLSA Status:** Non-Exempt **When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.** **Job Type:** Per Diem **Scheduled Hours:** 0 **Work Shift:** Rotating (United States of America) Recovery Specialist – Addiction Treatment Services - CSS **Job Description:** **About the Job** : + **Schedule:** **Per Diem** Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) is a 23 bed detoxification program dedicated to helping men and women with substance use histories who have gone through multiple attempts in treatment. Clients are provided with a short-term intensive treatment program to guide them with their transition to long term care. Services include individual and group counseling, risk assessment for TB & STDs, HIV education, case management, and after-care follow up services. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the life in those who are struggling with addiction. **The Recovery Specialist’s Responsibilities Are:** + Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities + Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30 minute client well-being checks + Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties + Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor + Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) + Experience working with substance use population is preferred + Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred **FLSA Status:** Non-Exempt **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
