A Spa Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and relaxing/fun environment for guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

\nWhat will I be doing?

As a Recreation Attendant, you would be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and relaxing/fun environment for guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\n

 

\n\n

 

\n\n\n\tGreet guests and respond to guest inquiries and resolve service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\n\tMaintain cleanliness of work area including, but not limited to, cleaning the facility, locker rooms, machines and equipment in accordance with federal, state, local and company standards\n\tStock and replenish the facility with supplies and products, including, but not limited to clean towels, fresh water, drinking cups, etc.\n\tAssist in monitoring facility use to ensure guest safety\n\tConduct financial transactions, as needed\n\tPerform general Spa duties, as needed\n\tOffer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a gracious, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members\n\tGreeting guests and directing them to the Pool entrance or Fitness and Wellness Center\n\tGain preference of seating by offering Cabana, Sun or Shade\n\tEnter poolside guests into Open Table or communicate with Pool Hostess for seamless F&B service\n\tBe responsible for setting up lounge chairs and cabanas\n\tAssist guests with sun shades (umbrella) location, set-up and maintenance throughout the day.  \n\tDelivering clean towels and removing all soiled towels for pool and fitness center.\n\tAnticipate guest needs, as to where guests will never have to ask for anything \n\tCheck on daily amenities per hour and deliver to guest \n\tSetup and maintain the pool environment and material perfectly clean as per side work checklist description\n\tMaintain fitness facility by performing necessary housekeeping duties (picking up towels, cups, shower & bathroom area, vanity area and all surrounding areas).\n\tAbility to give orientation tours and describe the fitness equipment to all guests entering the fitness and wellness center.\n\tAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\n\tAbility to work in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor environment while maintaining a calm appearance.\n\tKeep all pool deck areas, fitness center and locker rooms clean and free of debris \n\tFollow Waldorf Astoria grooming and appearance guidelines while maintaining a positive attitude.  \n\tFollowing the posted opening and closing duties and side work sheet \n\tAttend all pre shift communication meetings \n\tAttend monthly department meeting as required\nWhat are we looking for?
