Regional Director of Admission
Regional Director of Admission The Regional Director of Admission will work with local Directors of Admissions to monitor census growth, business development, admission activities, and marketing functions. Maintains relationships with residents, families, professionals, and community referral sources. Responsibilities: + Ensure the admissions process within each facility runs efficiently and is a positive experience for residents, families, and supporting staff. + Ensure each facility is meeting short-term and long-term census goals. + Works toward the successful achievement of the mission of the facility + Participates in the ongoing process of Quality Improvement in order to improve upon the service, standards, and processes of the facility. + Responsible for all required daily, weekly, monthly census and activity reports of the Region. + Make sure all referrals are responded to in a timely manner. + Work closely with the Administrator, regional team, and all others involved to maintain consistent admission, discharge, and transfer meetings. + Maintain updated bed ability and facility services information. + Ensure all papers are properly filled out and input into system. + Help expedite admissions process for emergencies. + Maintain knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Qualifications: + Minimum 2-5 years’ experience as a successful Admissions Coordinator in a short-term rehabilitation/long term care facility preferred. + Healthcare, sales marketing experience preferred. + Knowledge of Microsoft office, typing, medical terminology knowledge and data entry required. + Excellent interpersonal skills: possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors.
