The CVT Echo / Vascular Tech Registered provides clinical and technical assistance for the performance of echocardiography and vascular procedures. The CVT Echo/ Vascular Tech Registered provides care based on identified needs and physician orders according to hospital/department standards, policies and procedures. The CVT Registered is responsible for assisting the CVT Echo/ Vascular Tech Non-registered in understanding the concepts of ultrasound and application of concepts to clinical practice. The CVT Echo/Vascular Tech is required to be registered in vascular technology. Dual registry preferred in Echocardiography or Radiologic Technology.

Education REQUIRED: Graduate of an echocardiography or vascular ultrasound program

Experience REQUIRED: None

Licenses/Certificates REQUIRED: Registered Radiologic Technologist, Registered in Echocardiography by CCI or ARDMS, or Registered in Vascular Technology by CCI or ARDMS within 6 months of hire (preferred to be registered upon hire)
