Variable start times from 0630-1430, 0700-1500, 0730-1530, 0800-1600, 0830-1630, 0900-1700. Some Saturdays may be needed
Summary:
Responsible documentation of patient care and provides a safe and comfortable environment for the patient and staff. Collaborates with other disciplines to revise the patient care plan according to changing patient needs. Knowledgeable of preparation and administration of meds, know possible side effects and contraindications. Initiates patient teaching to patient and family members as necessary.

EDUCATION
High School diploma or GEDGraduate of an accredited school of nursingBSN strongly preferredCurrent registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York StateBasic Life Support
EXPERIENCE
One (1) year GI Unit experience preferred or one (1) year of Operating Room experience or completion of a post-graduate Peri-Operative Program.
