Registered Nurse Infusion for the Inova Loudoun Schar Infusion clinic. 

This is a PRN role. 

Infusion RN's work 9 hour shifts.

This position may involve floating to other Inova Schar Infusion Clinic Locations

The Registered Nurse Infusion Center ensures desired patient outcomes using and integrated approach. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor. Provides comprehensive patient and family education including information about treatments, medications, chemotherapy and other appropriate items, while keeping patients and families informed about all aspects of the plan of care. Works collaboratively with members of the healthcare team to provide patients and families with appropriate resources and support.
 

Requirements

BSN  - highly preferred. If ADN must obtain BSN within 2 years of hire. 

A minimum of one year of infusion nursing experience.

Basic Life Support – American Heart Association

Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) within two years of hire.

Obtain the chemo card within the first three months of hire--- chemotherapy card from either the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or the Association of Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurses
