The Long-Term Acute Care Registered Nurse provides planningand delivery of direct and indirect patient care to medically complex patientsin long-term acute settings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirectpatient care Responsible for providing care to medically complex patientsSupervises care, treatment, and services of the patient(s) Documents the patient’s plan of care using identifiednursing diagnosis, expected patient outcomes and selected nursing interventionsMaintains confidentiality at all times with patients,medical staff and co-workers Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patientenvironment Adheres to and supports thepolicies/procedures/goals/objectives of the hospital in an attempt to providequality patient care Revises plan of care according to evaluation, changes inplan of care and nursing interventions Performs interventions according to identified priorities,plan of care, and facility policies and patient care outcome standards Identifies and prioritizes actions based upon patient carerequirementsMinimum Requirements:
