The Stiles Laboratory is seeking applications for a research assistant position in the Center for Advanced Human Brain Imaging Research within the Brain Health Institute. The scholar will study multisensory perception, and illusory perception in the normally sighted, and visually impaired. The proposed studies will provide crucial insights into visual perception, and multisensory integration. It is expected that the research assistant will work part-time in parallel with their studies at Rutgers.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Perform psychophysical experiments with sighted participants and/or low vision patients. Analyze behavioral data collected from experiments, and present data in clear language and plots. Aid with the setup and calibration of laboratory equipment and the experimental design of new studies and investigations. Aid with the recruitment of patients from the Rutgers Ophthalmology and Neurology clinics. Analyze, organize, and present data and results at laboratory meetings.
