Resort Guest Room Attendant - Durango

Position: Resort Guest Room Attendant                                 Department: Housekeeping

It’s great to meet you!

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about the next generation of Station Casinos, a brand stemming from Frank Fertitta, Jr.’s inclusive spirit, forward-looking vision, and dedication to excellence. Durango exists to give locals a place to go—a destination for people to feel welcome and at home, and we need some people to help make this a reality.

Interested? Then see why this role is important to us.

This role is critical for us to succeed as an approachable, luxury destination offering best-in-class hospitality and exciting amenities for all. In addition, you will create a personalized moment for our guests.

If you are willing to take on this responsibility, then check out what you will be doing.  While there are several tasks that define your role, you will need to be really good at making it easy for our guests: delivering service with a personal touch and delighting others whenever possible, all with an approachable sense of luxury. Most of the time, you will be:

Ensuring that guest rooms are clean and neat Completing daily assignment of guest rooms within allotted time and perform general cleaning as assigned Stocking and maintaining cart in a neat, orderly manner at all times Picking up rooms as needed, based on occupancy

What we can’t train is what’s inside of you.

Our values are essential to us, and we need them to be important to you, too. We look for people who are naturally kind, inclusive, forward-thinking, reliable, passionate, and self-aware. THESE ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE.

So far, so good, but just a few more things:

In a perfect world, we would also like you to come with:

Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. Ability to reach a height of 6 feet, and transport, push, pull and maneuver a cart weighing up to 60 lbs.  Ability to climb, bend, reach, walk, and stand for the duration of shift.  Ability to tolerate chemicals, cleansers and solvents. Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards.

So, what do you think? Is this you?  Then what are you waiting for?  Go ahead and fill out the application form.  And if not, no problem. We still think you’re great and hope to catch up once Durango is open!
