THE JOB:

As a Master Cook, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by using your culinary techniques. You’ll provide high-quality food to guests from all over the world. In your role, you will partner with front-of-house staff to create WOW memories the guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Follow prescribed methods of food preparation, cooking, and portion sizing as directed by the Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Sous Chef.Execute sauce mixing and food garnishing techniques according to approved standards.Set up workstation efficiently based on established pars provided by Chef hierarchy.Refer to station set-up sheets for guidance on operational procedures.Assess cooked food for quality, flavor, and appearance to meet the highest culinary standards set by the leadership team.Drive the Customer Relations Management system by accurately handling customer orders and ensuring correct preparation and service to enhance guest satisfaction.Adhere to occupational, health, and safety standards in food handling and preparation.Monitor and maintain proper holding temperatures of food using thermometers to prevent foodborne illnesses.Complete closing requirements as directed by Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Sous Chef.Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of work area to uphold hygiene standards.Delegate tasks to other team members as instructed by chefs to optimize operations.Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of prior relevant experience.High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
