$2404 Gross Weekly for 36 Department: Med / Tele Swing Unit ER *Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS* *Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS* TNCC if working ER - # of Beds: 10 - Nurse:Patient Ratios: Typically 1:3-4 - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics, occasional peds, All-Majority of Census is Swing bed needing Iv abx, therapy or wound care. Medical patients vary : Diabetic, pancreatitis, pneumonia, etc - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes - Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes- 1:8 - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 0630-1900, 1830-0700 // Self scheduling with manager approving - Weekend Requirements: At least every 3rd, at times every other - Holiday Requirements: Rotation per unit needs - Floating Requirements: Can float to ED to be back up help if volumes surg - Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs Provided?: Navy Blue - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 2 days - Additional Notes: Attributes that help a nurse be successful in this department include: willingness to jump in and help wherever needed- we are a small team and that is a game changer for teamwork approach. Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
