Position Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at ReSound is an essential function of our sales department and key to the growth and success of our organization. The SDR will be the first point of contact for many of our new business opportunities. This is a highly visible role that has a direct and significant impact on our business. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating a new business pipeline through calling on prospects, customers, and inbound leads, with the goal of closing new business.

Maintain a high-level of prospecting activities: 45 calls and 40 emails per day to key personnel including Practice owners, ENT directors, and other potential decision makers within target organizationsGenerate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunitiesGain interest through outbound cold calling across a set of existing ReSound customers and break into new doors in an assigned territoryIdentify key decision makers within new accountsMethodically qualify, build, and maintain a sales pipeline; maintain a volume of activity including outbound cold calls, emails, & social sellingConsistently exceed quarterly and annual sales quota’sResponsible for accurately entering customer interactions and information in Salesforce CRMAlign with internal account teamDevelop a solid understanding of ReSound product lines and become a trusted advisor to prospective accounts.Nurture early-stage opportunitiesManage inbound sales leads that are driven by outbound efforts

Desired Qualifications

Required Education (if necessary):

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience and knowledge.

Preferred Education (if necessary):

Business or Speech & Hearing emphasis.

Experience (if necessary):

1-2 years experience in business development, sales, or related field preferred.  Experience with lead qualification at all levels within an organization preferred, including managers, directors, or owners.

Travel (if necessary): Occasional Travel – 3-4 times a year for sales conferences
