Position Overview: The Semi-Truck Driver will haul various materials, concrete paving equipment, and miscellaneous support equipment to and from job sites. The Semi-Truck Driver is a full-time position that requires overtime through peak season, reports to the Foreman, and will have no supervisory responsibility. Incentive(s) + $1500 Sign-On Bonus + Annual Clothing Stipend + Annual Safety Incentive Essential Duties and Functions: + Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects + Haul concrete paving equipment and miscellaneous support equipment + Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner + Perform maintenance on assigned trucks and other equipment as needed + Complete pre and post-shift inspections and assist with equipment repairs as needed + Set up and tear down job sites when moving to and from locations (as needed) + Record any maintenance issues in the truck logbook and ensure the supervisor is aware of any maintenance issues that would inhibit work production or create safety concerns + Properly secure loads to meet laws and safety regulations + Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours) Position Requirements: + Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test + Experience with heavy haul loads + Class A CDL + Clean DMV record + Basic maintenance skills + Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal Physical Requirements: + Ability to reach below/at/above shoulders + Pushing/Pulling + Twisting/Bending + Sitting/Standing/Balancing + Operate hand and foot controls + Simple/Firm grasping + Ability to lift/lower over 50 pounds + Ability to carry over 50 pounds + Squatting/Stooping/Crouching + Kneeling/Crawling + Gross manipulation (pinching) Benefit Offering: + Salary Range: $26-28 per hour (Based on experience, location, etc.) + Health – Dental – Vision Ins. + Company-paid Life Insurance + Voluntary Life Insurance + Company-paid Short Term Disability + Voluntary Long Term Disability + Paid Time off and Holiday Pay + Employee Assistance Program + 401K with Company Match + Bereavement Pay + Potential for Advancement
