A Process Control Engineer in Micron’s Technology Development team is responsible for developing, driving, and sharing process and equipment control solutions. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with process engineering, IT, equipment automation, data engineering, and data science teams to develop and deliver high quality control strategies and sophisticated methods of variation prediction, identification, and reduction.Specifically, we need someone to craft models and systems solutions to predict and control future process variation with an end goal of efficiency, process variation reduction and yield improvement. You will collaborate with a global community of control engineers to share best known methods and ensure global alignment.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Design and implement solutions to reduce process variation and develop systems that automate or simplify process control tasksIdentify process requirements to design and deliver decision logicWrite scripts to extract, shape and filter data for analysis to develop predictive and control modelsProficiency in one or more scripting/web development languages a plus (e.g. JMP, Python, Java, JS, TS)Extracting data from different databases via SQL and other query languages and apply data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniquesEstablish and maintain effective relationshipsOrganize tasks for maximum efficiency, incorporating department prioritiesCoordinate and thoughtfully facilitate meetings and project teamsCommunicate complex analysis in a succinct and impactful mannerYou have the following Qualifications:Demonstrate a strong understanding of Statistical Process ControlExcellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skills to plan, drive and complete projects optimallyCritical thinking and problem solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetailed oriented and able to follow sophisticated proceduresIdentify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiencyThe willingness to travel (maybe required at times)Ability to evolve skills via internal and external education opportunitiesExperience in software testing/verification is a plusGeneral knowledge of semiconductor processes and toolsEducation and Experience:

A BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, or an equivalent Micron job standing of Engineer or higher is required.
