The Facilities group is seeking a Job Captain or Senior Job Captain with approximately 8-12 years’ experience for our New England regional offices. Work will include architectural design projects for the Facility group’s clients, supporting the company’s other engineering discipline groups, participating and contributing to the expansion of the Facility group’s growing project base. We foster a collaborative and innovative design process with a focus on multi-faceted and complex public works, industrial, and recreational facilities for municipalities throughout New England and down the east coast.

What you’ll do:

Support our Facilities Architecture team in the planning and design of new and renovated facilities. Work includes programming and conceptual planning through construction document preparation and construction administration.Provide Architectural support to other Weston & Sampson discipline groups including Landscape Architecture, Aquatics, Environmental, Federal Installations, Transportation, Water, and Wastewater.Report to Architectural Project Manager and Team Leader.Supervise project team on delegated tasks and coordinate the project team with input from the Project Manager. Participate in professional organizations and technical committees.Collaborate and build strong working relationships with internal multi-disciplinary teams

What you will bring:

8+ years of substantial experience as a productive member of a project design team with strong technical and Revit skills.Ability to function comfortably, gain trust, confidence and deal effectively with a wide range of individuals including consultants, contractors and facilities project team membersProven ability to function in all phases of project development from schematic design through contract administrationREVIT/BIM fluency is mandatory, working experience with AutoCAD desirableFamiliarity with State of MA Chapter 149 public procurement requirements a plus Professional degree required.Valid drivers license.
