Senior Operations Program Manager, Device Postponement Operations (DPO)
The Senior Factory Operations Program Manager (FOPM) is responsible to oversee factory readiness and performance for assigned programs. The FOPM will identify and drive operational improvements. The FOPM is based in the Postponement Factory and manages program launches with the NPI OPM, Product Management, Operations, Engineering, and Warehouse teams.

The FOPM has a technical orientation and a Lean/6σ focus. The FOPM manages everything from factory fit-up (space expansion, line installation, security) to factory readiness (line equipment, labor readiness, capacity, ramp plans). The FOPM presents frequently to executives, and works with business partners that manage Product Cost and Material Readiness.


Key job responsibilities
As Senior FOPM, you:

* are the single owner for all Factory Operations of assigned programs;
* collaborate with cross functional teams and the postponement partner to develop and drive factory readiness, processes, capacity models, equipment delivery and qualification, quality control plans, implementation schedules, validation plans and cost reductions;
* lead daily standup meetings, line starts, daily deliverables, and MIL during control runs and program launches
* drive operational improvements using Lean and 6σ practices;
* manage site planning, site expansions, and site security for DPO Operations;
* report program updates on a weekly and monthly basis to all levels of the organization;
* travel as needed to accomplish business needs.



A day in the life
At any stage of the program lifecycle, the FOPM will be leading Operations teams to deliver new products.

* On any given day, the FOPM will be on the line or in the warehouse, meeting with the postponement partner, driving schedules, solving problems, creating schedules or finding creative ways to solve issues.
* During Project Evaluation, the FOPM is key to factory input to the evaluation process. The FOPM works closely with the Product Manager to provide inputs to the program cost/benefit modeling.
* During Project Launch, the FOPM works closely with the NPI OPM to define manufacturing strategies, factory fit-up requirements, establish program schedules for factory readiness, identify opportunities and risks to the factory schedule, and ensures that all factory concerns are identified, resolved, or escalated as needed.
* During Production Launch, the FOPM leads the daily standup meeting, coordinates teams to identify and resolve issues, and reports daily progress to production and yield targets;
