Ag Processing Inc is currently seeking a Senior Production Assistant at our soy crush plant in Hastings, IA. The person in this role will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of the soy plant through providing management support in various departments. The individual will be given exposure to and training in areas such as processing operations and management, shipping and receiving management, quality control, overall facility maintenance management, environmental compliance and safety, and project development and implementation. This individual must be looking for career advancement and be willing to relocate to fill key management positions throughout the company due to future retirements and company needs.

 

Responsibilities:

A desire to be part of a safety culture where the value of safety is of the utmost importance. Identify deficiencies, determine root causes, and prevent reoccurrence. Learn maintenance skills on plant equipment. Prepare, conduct, and present training to team members and contractors. Learn project development skills. Learn all facets of AGP product shipping and receiving including customer service, FSMA compliance, rail yard management and operations, product grading and quality control, official sampling, grain drying operations and compliance with NFPA 61 and 652 standards in these areas.
