Responsibilities Interface in professional manner with client representatives and subcontractors.Review designs and provide feedback to designers.Manage in-depth technical reviews of submittals against design documents and manage submittal review and approval status through use of submittal register.Implement the requirements of approved QC Plan, assuring all required records are generated and managed.Identify deficiencies and non-conformances, prepare documentation, and monitor and verify corrective actions.Stop work if necessary to resolve non-compliant work or matters that negatively affect safety.Coordinate and document commissioning and formal completion inspections.Manage a timely project closeout to include compilation and turnover of all required documents. QualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
BS degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or CMAA CertificationMinimum 10 years construction experience, 5 as QC ManagerUSACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management for Contractors training certification preferred.Or equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong leadership and communication skills.Proactive management approach.Ability to work in a team environmentSkilled using Microsoft Word and Excel; USACE QCS a plus
