Job Summary: Serves as an administrative resource for nursing and other departments as required for coordination of patient care services on assigned shifts.
Qualifications: Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. At least two years of nursing in ED/ICU with outstanding leadership and organizational skills and a broad-based knowledge of nursing practice required. Able to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary personnel and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team is a must. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving skills required. Supervisory experience preferred. BLS and ACLS required. PALS strongly preferred.
