What you'll be doing:\n\nDirect the research, data collection, and subsequent analysis of new business opportunities through guiding, motivating, and developing a team focused on capturing new work in the DoD, DHS, and FedCiv markets.\nCreate solutions responsive to customer needs; leverage capabilities and insight on existing work; assist with teaming with the right partners; and propose innovative and compelling solutions to meet customer requirements.\nDevelop strategies with the growth team members; coordinate corporate resources; assess competition; coordinate with proposal development, contracts, and pricing.\nCollaborate with executive leadership, the growth team, program\/account managers, and technical groups to coordinate business development activities.\nUse his\/her established network in Federal agencies to actively meet with potential clients, identify new business opportunities, and assist the Capture Manager with identified strategic pursuits.\nActively contribute to a winning proposal process, interacting closely with internal service centers including proposal operations, pricing, and contracts, as well as other organizations.\n\n
What you need for this position:\n\nBachelor's degree, and 1-3 years of experience in data collection and analytics within the DoD, DHS, Intel, and FedCiv markets.\nPossess an understanding of Federal government contracts requirements (Federal Acquisition Regulations, legal compliance)\nExperienced in assisting with building the business development pipeline to include new opportunities within the federal government.\nProven skills in evaluating opportunity targets, planning, and building winning teams and solutions.\nExperience in business development activities associated with identification, qualification, capture, and bid activities, and the knowledge to transition new business opportunities into operations.\nExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions.\nAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorship indefinitely.\nAbility to obtain a TS\/SCI Security Clearance.\nAs a contingency to employment at NetCentrics, all candidates who are given offers must successfully pass a background investigation including criminal history and reference checks.\n\n
