Responsibilities: + Line 8 To run Minnesota Automation Sleever safely and efficiently + To get product out with little downtime + To be aware of quality and safety issues + To be able to communicate with other operators + Daily set up operation, and shutdown of the sleever + Able to perform routine changeover and necessary adjustments associated with machine operation + Perform daily and period maintenance + Work with BCE operators to coordinate product flow + Perform quality line audits + Check metal detector for proper calibration and operation + Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor + Keep the work area clean as needed + Ability to react quickly to resolve problems with equipment Minimum Qualifications: + Basic mechanical skill, based on experience or training + Basic math skills + Knowledge of Branded Retail processing packaging product codes + Must be able to read, write, & speak English + Must be able to handle pork products + No performance work actions in the last 6 months + No attendance work actions in the last 6 months + PHYSICAL: No current restrictions prohibiting work in a 35 degree environment + No current restrictions lifting 40 pounds Preferred Qualifications: + Previous machine operation experience + Previous experience in Branded Retail processing packaging Excellent pay and benefit package including health, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, vacation, holidays, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings plan with 401K match, continuing education, and much more.Jennie-O Turkey Store is an equal opportunity employer.
