Our work depends on Software Engineer Sr Advisor joining our team to support complex scalable data platforms that provide business intelligence, analytics and data products to the mission. HOW A SOFTWARE ENGINEER SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Design and develop complex new software products and make significant enhancements to existing software.
● Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
● Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software systems and application issues.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, analysts, project managers, and other engineers.
● Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
● Required Experience: Minimum 10+ years of related software development experience.
● Required Technical Skills:
Demonstrated experience with Angular 10 or higher, Java, and TypescriptExperience with Springboot and TomcatProvide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software systems and application issues.Team focused, willing to develop and implement solutions in dispersed team environment.● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Poly
● Preferred Skills:
Experience with UI design and usability.Experience with building automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, and Rundeck.Experience with MySQL and ElasticsearchHas foundational knowledge of AWS.
