The AWS Hardware team drives system innovation in the servers used by all of Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3 and CloudFront. Our engineers solve the hardest problems that fuse software, hardware, and the cloud. We take big bets on new concepts, enabling AWS services to continue to revolutionize the industry.
What you will do: As a member of the Hardware Engineering team you will own next-generation server components. You will have demonstrated results in the architecture and development of embedded processors or programmable logic such as , x86/ARM processors, FPGAs, and CPLDs. You will interact with an interdisciplinary team of engineers to design, develop, validate, and launch at large scale. You’ll provide leadership in the application of new technologies to servers and ML systems in a continuous effort to deliver and improve a world-class customer experience. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position. You will work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas. You have high standards for yourself and everyone you work with. You will be constantly looking for ways to improve performance, quality, and cost.
